TCA -  (Trichloroacetic acid) is applied for deep peels. The bigger the concentration ratio (usually ranges between 20%-50%)  - the deeper the peel.

Normally, a treatment that involves 50% TCA ratio will penetrate deep into the reticular dermis. (Every concentration above 35%  may cause scarring in an escalating risk).

TCA is recommended for people with light-to dark skin wheres Phenol isn’t. TCA helps smooth out wrinkles, pigmentation problems and more.
It is recommended to conduct a preliminary treatment using Retin-A.  Best results occur when the treatment is repeated several times.

Note that these treatments makes your skin very prone to sun damages making it necessary to put on highly protective sunblock and avoid exposure to the sun for as long as weeks after the treatment.
