Pay Day: How much will it cost?
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the U.S. average consumer-price for laser skin resurfacing is $2,378. Note that this fee only covers the physician’s costs, and does not include other miscellaneous costs. Not even mentioning that when multiple sessions are considered - price adjusts. To get a more comprehensive estimation regarding the overall cost - talk to your physician. Be sure to conclude all additional costs so that you’ll be able to deal with it when pay day comes.
When it comes to insurance - no good news. Most medical insurance providers do not cover cosmetic surgery procedures - though in some instances, the treatment may be defined as “performed to remove pre-cancerous growths” - so you may be able to get partial cover. Asking for insurance advice from your cosmetic surgeon would be a smart move.
