A laser peel (aka Laser skin resurfacing), is a process in which the the top layers of the skin are removed using a very focused light energy beam (laser).
There are several different types of lasers, some can penetrate deep into the deepest layers of skin. One of the main goals these treatments is to make the skin look smoother, tighter, improve its texture and color.
Laser skin resurfacing treatments are usually performed using a Co2 laser, while other lasers are being used to treat more specific skin problems.
