Treating Skin Tags
There are various ways to remove skin tags, including removing with surgeon scissors, liquid nitrogen, and burning.
Tiny tags can be removed easily without local anesthesia. Larger skin tags require local anesthesia prior to removal.
There are also some home-made remedies, including tying the little tag using a piece of thread or dental floss and allowing the tag to fall off.
Unlike the common misconception, there is no real evidence to support the notion that removing tags can cause other tags to grow. The misconception may derive out of the fact that some
people have higher tendancy to develolp tags - which requires them to remove tags more often than others.
