* Surgery: The surgeon removes mole tissue using a scalpel and sutures the wound closed. Sometimes, surrounding tissue is destroyed too.
* Electro -surgery. The surgeon shaves the mole using a scalpel and then destroys the tissue below the surface with an electric needle. If the wounds size warrants it, the wound is sutured closed. some scarring
is possible.
* Cryo - surgery. The surgeon uses liquid nitrogen to terminate the mole tissue. This can ruin surrounding tissue as too and can cause scarring.
* Laser - surgery. The surgeon uses a unique laser to destroy the mole tissue. This procedure minimizes destruction of surrounding tissue. Some scarring is possible.
* Acids (procedure).  This procedure is long and is non-selective, meaning that it destroys all tissue it comes into contact with. Highest potential for scarring.
