Panda eyes suck. Seriously. No one in his right mind loves those horroring morning circles. But what
causes those dark circles? Can we do something to prevent them from showing up?
Well, here’s a short list of the most common reasons:
Your Genes – The transparency and thinness of your skin is inherited. The thinner the skin the more likely it is that you’ll get those dark circles under your eyes.
The strength of your capillaries is also hereditary. Weakened capillary walls contribute to dark circles under the eyes.
Unfortunately, if you have a tendency to dark circles there isn’t a lot you can do besides taking a very good care of your skin.
Bone structure – Certain bone structures - especially if you have deep set eyes - creates shadowing which may contribute to the overall impression
of dark circles around the eyes, making the situation appear worse.
Sun damage – Hyperpigmentation results in higher levels of melanin in the
delicate skin around the eyes which darkens unattractively. Wear a high factor UV protection and proper sunglasses which fully shade the eye area.
Aging – As we get older collagen levels drop and skin becomes thinner and more transparent. Capillary also weakens Therefore, you better
treat the delicate skin around your eyes with specialized eye creams.
Dehydration - Circles may indicate that the body is lacking fluids. Keep yourself well hydrated.
Lack of sleep – Though it’s not a direct cause of dark circles, lack of sleep may cause you to appear pale and
thereby emphasizing your dark circles. Get a good night’s sleep.
The causes of dark circles around the eyes may be outside of our control but we have the ability to reduce the damage by taking advantage of the science and cosmetics.
Overall, a combination between eye creams, make up, careful diet and rest will substantially reduce the appearance of the dark circles.

To prevent dark circles take 2 magnesium tablets per day, especially if you’re taking calcium. Eat vegetables and fruits for the treatment of dark circles under eyes.
